If you have a different question, contact us.
  1. Do I need to bring a partner to take the lesson/course?

No, you do not need a partner to take the lessons.  We try to have even number of male/female ratio through our assistants and volunteers.  Also, we rotate partners often to ensure you dance with as many partners as possible.  This will help to develop your leading/ following technique as well as a way to get to know other people in the class.  It is advisable to pre-register for a course in order for us to balance the class.

  2. Do I need to bring anything to class?

You just need to be able to move freely and be comfortable during class.  Wear comfortable clothes and keep yourself hydrated by bringing bottled water, and be prepared to sweat.  Please be considerate of others and practice good hygiene. (ie. change of clothes, had towel, and deodorant.)

  3. What kind of shoes do I need?  Do I need dance shoes?

You will need a clean pair of shoes (indoor shoes) that can glide on the floor easily and allow you to move freely.  Rubber soles or sneakers tend to be sticky and makes it difficult to dance.  Some students eventually opt to purchase dance shoes.  Ballroom shoes, jazz shoes, or dance sneakers will be suitable for this style of dance.

  4. How do I register?

You can register by using our online form to reserve yourself a spot for the class; it is a first come first serve basis.  You will be notified if the class is full and be put on a waiting list for the next set of sessions.

  5. What type of payment do you accept?

We currently take cash or cheque as a form of payment.  Online payment will be available in the near future.

  6. What if I already have a background, what level should I take?

It is advisable to take classes from level 1 as there are basic techniques that is required to understand the higher levels.  You can always ask for an assessment and we will place you to the appropriate level.
